About the ArtistHushang Tatar was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. Educated in his native land he pursued advanced education in Germany.
Hushang showed a strong interest in art, at the tender age of three, and attributes his spiritual journey from Islam to Christianity to his gift of creativity and awareness of the world of art. This is reflected in his spiritual art and portraitures of human life.
Hushang is a gifted, self-taught artist working in various mediums and favoring acrylic and watercolor since living in the United States. His travels have given him a worldly interest in a variety of subject matter. The diversity of his work is boundless and his expression for human life is the panorama of his work seen on this website.
Hushang is available for commissioned work as well as group lectures and art instruction classes.
